ViDAR (from Shield AI's Sentient Vision Systems unit) is AI-enabled wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) software that uses passive EO/IR sensors to automatically detect, classify, and track small objects across vast areas of ocean or land. Rather than streaming raw video, it turns sensor operators into mission managers by continuously scanning and prioritizing detections, and is offered as software or as a self-contained ViDAR Pod for Group 3 UAS, helicopters, and fixed-wing aircraft.
