SkySafe RF Mitigation / Defeat System

Nondestructive RF defeat that severs a drone's control and navigation

SkySafe's mitigation system uses software-defined radio (built on Ettus/NI USRP X310 hardware and GNU Radio/RFNoC) to deliver nondestructive countermeasures that disrupt the command-and-control and navigation links of common commercial drone threats. It can also intercept navigation downlink reports to passively display drone locations, and has been delivered under U.S. DoD contract and extended through an FAA detection-and-mitigation program.

What it does

  • Nondestructive C2 and navigation link disruption
  • SDR-based rapid prototyping against new threats
  • Passive interception of drone navigation downlinks
  • Multi-layered pairing with radar (Fortem partnership)
  • Tactical mesh network integration

Where it's deployed

  • U.S. Department of Defense (delivered under DoD contract)
  • FAA detection and mitigation program
  • Multiple multi-million-dollar contracts with an Asian military ally

Agencies using it

DoD
