Launched in the US in December 2025, Familiar Faces builds facial-recognition profiles of people who appear on Ring cameras and labels who is at the door. Amazon markets it as opt-in; it is withheld in Illinois, Texas, and Portland over biometric laws and drew a proposed class action in 2026.
