Ring Community Requests (Axon partnership)
The button that lets cops ask millions of Ring owners for their footage.
Community Requests is Ring's 2025 revival of its police video-request tool, letting law-enforcement officers solicit footage from Ring camera owners in a chosen area, with sharing framed as voluntary. It is delivered through a partnership with Axon, routing requests via Axon's Evidence/Fusus real-time-crime-center platform to feed Ring clips directly into police case files.
