Cloud Video Surveillance
Ring Cameras & Video Doorbells
Tens of millions of privately owned cameras Amazon can turn into a neighborhood surveillance grid.
Ring's line of Wi-Fi video doorbells and Floodlight/Spotlight/Stick Up/Outdoor security cameras streams and records footage to Amazon's cloud, now including 2K/4K 'Retinal Vision' models and an on-device 'Familiar Faces' facial-recognition feature (rolling out December 2025) that flags known versus unknown people at the door. The devices form the physical sensor layer behind Ring's police-facing evidence-sharing programs.
