PlateRanger is an automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) and vehicle recognition system built on Rekor's LPR technology, using NVIDIA-powered AI and HD cameras to capture plates on vehicles traveling up to 70 mph across up to two lanes at a 75-foot range. Its PlateRanger Agent software can turn any ONVIF-compatible camera into an AI ALPR sensor, and results integrate with ShotSpotter and CrimeTracer as part of the SafetySmart Platform. It provides live-view mapping, video feeds, and instant hotlist alerts via Rekor Scout.
