Amazon is one of four vendors on the Department of Defense's Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC), a multi-cloud contract worth up to $9 billion that provides cloud computing from the enterprise to the tactical edge across all classification levels. AWS supplies compute, storage, and AI/ML services underpinning DoD command-and-control, ISR data processing, and mission workloads.
