APEX Continuity, launched with AT&T in 2025, is a cloud-based backup solution that provides fast failover so 911 and Text-to-911 keep operating when a PSAP suffers a network outage, cyberattack, system failure, or evacuation. Telecommunicators securely log in from laptops, CAD PCs, or backup facilities to reroute and answer emergency calls from alternate locations.
